FRISSON COFFEE BAR

I love to try out new cafes, or those that are currently on trend. Most of the time, I get exposed to all these cafes either through my instagram friends or by any recommendations from people around me. But some of them are just not as good as what have been stated online. So, here's a question. 

"Is Frisson Coffee Bar overrated or not?" 

The answer is... NOPE. It's not! I am not disappointed with this cafe at all. Maybe because I have tried the right things this time? 

Talking about the ambience, it's kinda cozy. There are small lights all over the walls and a little on the ceiling. The whole cafe is decorated with black and wooden tables, hanging pictures and cute boxes sticking to the wall. Not really crowded during my visit maybe because it was a weekday. I enjoyed a good time there as it was quite silent.

Paranormal shot succeeded after a few attempts. Heh people kept moving around.

Stuffed Croissant with Chicken Ham - RM 15.90

Apparently, it's a croissant with vegetables, onions, olives and chicken ham stuffed in between. Next to it, there are cherry tomatoes and scrambled eggs cooked with tomatoes and cheese. This dish could be found in the a la carte menu but we ordered it under the set lunch menu, which means with RM 15.90, we got to enjoy both food and drinks!

Spot the light green drinks next to the pasta. Previously I've mentioned about the free drinks that comes together with the set lunch and this it is, a Green Tea Latte that costs RM 12. 

Polla Alla Milanese - RM 24.90

Tried this premium pasta that served with Italian classic Parmesan breaded chicken breast and tomato sauce. According to Daniel, the chicken is very crispy and the sauce tastes just nice with the right amount of tomatoes.

Chocolate Affair - RM 13.50

Hehe guess what? Here comes another great deal. By ordering any of the premium pastas, we would receive a 30 percent off for the affogato. In case you do not know, affogato is actually an Italian beverage that served with ice cream and a shot of espresso. Frisson Coffee Bar serves both chocolate and espresso shot, and of course I've picked the chocolate one. I AM A HUGE FAN OF CHOCOLATE.

What's in the cup? Chocolate ice cream, baby marshmallows, chocolate flakes and hidden crumbs underneath! Very tempting, isn't it?

That's all for this review. As you can see, I am quite happy with this cafe. They serve generous amount of food with very affordable and reasonable prices. I think it deserves my second visit. And if you would like try it out too, check out the operating hours below.
